The staff at the front desk were helpful, and a self-serve complimentary breakfast was offered.
My room was on the side of the highway, so it was sometimes noisy.
Even tho it was a location close to the highway, I found it very quite.
Check in was easy and hassle free, and the outdoor pool was clean and refreshing on a hot summer day.
The rooms had a musty smell, and the hotel itself was rather shabby. Not dirty, just worn.
I paid $111 for one night stay with my wife and grandson. The sign at the hotel said from $59/night, that would have been more what that room was worth.
Initial Check-in was slow, desk clerk provided keys to wrong room. Initial room - phone not working properly, tv not working, When offered a replacement phone, it too did not work. Offered another room - phone did not work in it. Stayed in original room but bugs appeared in bed linens in both beds in middle of night. Moved rooms in middle of night. This room had everything working and was clean - no bugs!. No Long- distance in Canada calls allowed, although key holder said that this was possible. Also, On Sunday morning, no calls could be made out of hotel - problems with phone system. Outdoor pool was not open due to it being prepared for opening. For all this problems, we were offered $10.00 per night off rate. Will not stay here again!
I was suprised that the hotel has air conditiong in the room
The staff were excellent and very helpful. The location was good as it was on a bus route and also close to several car rental companies. The hotel was also close to the motorway which made traveling around the district easier. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
The price, and it was closeness to everywhere we needed to be over the weekend
The hotel was fine for the price we paid. Comfortable and clean.
Well, there was no water in the taps in the bathroom sink?? However, there was another sink outside of the bathroom so it was not an issue. There were also some minor things like....the lamp shades were ripped and dented...there was a pane of glass missing in one of the outside doors. Nothing major though and everyone was very friendly.
Staff was great
Room was old, bathroom in need of repairs, loud, not a place I would bring myfamily to.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Very convenient to the Henley Rowing.
Mattress was comfortable
Breakfast area was not kept clean nor attended by staff. Had to ask for plates, napkins, coffee; area was very untidy; lots of staff socializing with each other instead of taking care of the patrons on more than one occassion. Rooms were very clean; however the stained mattress protector didn't impress me.
it was in a covenient location
When I called for directions the receptionist "was not from the area" and could not provide me with detailed directions.
we arrived and found no one at the front desk, sign said be back in a minute, waited 10 mins, hotel itself is dungy. not worth the price we paid, pool wasnt heated as stated. The best was waking up and going outside of the room to find alcohol bottles everywhere and puke in the halls and stair way. Have stayed at travelodges before, may second guess going to another one.
Nothing they got our resevations wrong and they over charged me for the room. It was full of mold, security lock broken, and hadn't been vacummed what seemed mths. will never stay at a travel lodge again. Also found out there was a drug raid there and I had my grandaughter staying there. discusted
Everything, staff management espescially, unclean
